Curriculum vitae
I was born in March 1947 under the sign of Pisces in Mateszalka, Hungary. I finished my art studies at the end of the 1960's in Warsaw at the Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Graphics and Painting. Following my first foreign exhibition in Scandinavia I received a Royal Norwegian scholarship and later lived and worked in Rome and Sicily.
In 1971, after Montreal and New York, moved to Santa Monica, California where I set up my studio. During the 1970s I had exhibitions in North America and the most important European cities, as well as in Israel, Australia and Japan. My works of art have found their way to buyers in almost every country in the world. In the mid 1980's I moved back to Europe where at first I opened an atelier in Zurich, then later in Liechtenstein. I now live and work in the Alps near Lake Constance. After a long time, my first exhibition in Hungary took place in 1982 at the Mucsarnok Museum. After this successful introduction, more exhibitions followed and were in additional media that allowed me a wider arena to more completely express and communicate my ideas in oil paintings, public monuments, painted glass, crystal, as well as on silk and textiles, porcelain walls, gift items and graphics.
This wonderful recognition and honoring process, which continues to this day, has helped me and my art to rediscover the country that is my native land.
